Normally, the clinic is open on Tuesdays from 4 – 8 pm. An appointment in the morning can also be arranged on certain days. We speak English fluently with international patients.

- 1Accessibility & Parking
Our clinic is close to Jakominiplatz, at Opernring 7. It is located in the corner of “Opernring” and “Girardigasse”. Please ring at “Augenärzte” and go straight into the courtyard. On the left hand side is the elevator or stairway no. 2, you will find us on the first floor!
- 2By public transport
By public transport you can reach our clinic via Jakominiplatz or Kaiser-Josef-Platz. It is a 5 min walk from both squares.
- 3By Car
The car can be parked either in the nearby underground car park opposite our clinic, the “Steirerhof underground car park” or directly before the clinic in the blue parking zone (Girardigasse or Opernring). (Underground parking: € 4 or € 3.80 per hour, blue zone: € 1.80 per hour).
- 4How long does it take?
- Your visit is expected to last about 30 minutes. First examinations take longer than follow-up examinations.
- In fundus examinations please calculate an extra 20 minutes, as of the pupil dilation waiting time. The pupils remain dilated for three to four hours. Driving a car is not allowed during this time.
- For a visual field examination, eg. in case of a cataract, you should additionally plan three quarters of an hour.
- Mother-child pass examinations take about an hour.
